Best brokers in Qatar

Qatar has two regulators: the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) for the onshore market and the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) for firms in the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC). Besides the QE Index, the Qatar Stock Exchange calculates the QE Al Rayan Islamic Index and reviews its constituents twice a year. We could not read the QFMA registers or investor statistics, and we found no investor compensation scheme.

The ranking

Risk warning: CFDs and leveraged products are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly. Investments can fall in value. Past performance is not an indicator of future results.

The part that decides

Tax notes

Per PwC (reviewed 17 September 2026), an individual's gains on the sale of securities are exempt as long as the securities are not assets of a taxable activity; dividends are not taxable if paid from profits taxed in Qatar or from tax-exempt companies. Per Deloitte (June 2026), Qatar imposes no withholding tax on dividends. We have not read the official law text. There is no income tax treaty with the United States, so US dividends bear 30% US withholding tax.

Brokers that withhold tax locally

Our dataset records no provider as a tax withholding agent for this country. How you declare the income is governed by the country's tax law.

Orientation based on the general legal position — not tax advice. Your personal situation and the legislation in force at the time govern.

Swap-free account for CFD and forex trading

Swap-free means no overnight financing on leveraged positions; other fees are possible (see source). This is leveraged trading with a high risk of loss.

  • eToroSource: etoro.comAs of 25 October 2026

Per eToro, available only to customers from the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt and Algeria. CFD positions held overnight incur an administrative fee after seven days; minimum deposit USD 1,000. eToro says the fee is not linked to interest.

  • Capital.comSource: help.capital.comAs of 25 October 2026

Per Capital.com, for clients who cannot use a regular account because of their religion, faith or beliefs, in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. The page does not say what replaces the swap. Switching requires no open trades and a request to client support.

  • ExnessSource: get.exness.helpAs of 25 October 2026

Per Exness, clients who register from a country on its list get swap-free status automatically, on all instruments. On another help page Exness reserves the right to charge an administration fee on positions held overnight, depending on the client's trading activity.

  • PepperstoneSource: pepperstone.comAs of 25 October 2026

The country list is on the page of Pepperstone's Kenyan entity; the UAE and Saudi Arabia are not on it. Per that page, once a trade has been open for five days Pepperstone deducts an admin charge per standard lot (FX and precious metals).

  • BlackBull MarketsSource: blackbull.comAs of 25 October 2026

Per BlackBull Markets, at its discretion and only for the countries on its list; Bahrain is not on it.
